Christmas Wreath

I have fun copying all the flowers you all are making, so I thought I would make a wreath using some felt flowers with old buttons as the center.

I added the flowers to a straw wreath I wrapped in strips from an old bedsheet.

I think it turned out pretty well, and it was just the thing to hang on the wall in my bathroom.  It worked with the valence I had just made for the window.

Easy, quick, and a little bit classy.  :)

I am taking this blog to a party:
Join us Saturdays at for the weekend wrap up party!

  1. This is quite lovely! I really like the cream flowers and the buttons are such a nice touch. The hint of gold on the buttons really give it a subtle but elegant touch.

  2. Beautiful wreath! I really like the asymmetrical layout of the flowers...very classy!! Great idea to add a flower to the valance too.

  3. How peaceful! I love the soothing neutrals. ;) Great job on the flowers!

  4. Very cool... Your blog is inspiring. Happy Jolly winter to you.

  5. Beautiful! I love the white on white! Would love for you to come visit me at Sew Chatty and link up to Made with Love Monday!

  6. Saw your link up on Creation Corner, I love this wreath! So simple but elegant.
I've made some similar flowers as those for hairclips..

  7. That is so creative and super cute! I love it!

Thanks so much for letting me know what you think! I so appreciate each and every one of you that take the time to comment! Have a wonderful day!
