Another Pottery Barn copycat

I also am a fan of Pottery Barn and love it when a new catalog arrives in my mail box.  One of the things I particularly liked in the last catalog were their pillow covers.  I especially liked the butterfly prints:

I had used a butterfly print from The Graphics Fairy for some smaller projects and knew it would work for a pillow.  Here is my version of the Pottery Barn pillow, done a bit less formally:

I have been planning on trying transferring a print to fabric for the past year but thought it would be a major pain so put it off.  I can’t believe I waited so long!  It was easy and I love the results.  I have a handful of other projects in the works as a result.  So if you have thought about doing this, “Go for it”.  You will love the results.

    Hi Brenda! Thanks for coming over and saying hi! Your blog too is another great blog for ME to follow! I'm loving your pillow, it's beautiful!. How did you do it?????? I've been wanting to make some pillows of my own, but that's another project to put on the "to do" list.
