Christmas Joy

'Tis the season for Joy, and I often feel blessed that I experience moments of joy most days. Or maybe I just have a low threshhold for experiencing joy! LOL!

Anyway, here is a little shabby chic Joy to share with you...

I printed out the sheet music from Graphic Fairy and tore it into triangle shapes.  I printed out JOY in a large french script font and cut the letters out to glue on the traingles.  I used a paper punch and string to tie the banner triangles to some gold garland and duct taped it to the window frame above my kitchen sink.       (Just keeping it real!)

I am joining the Make it for Monday party at cottage instincts for those last before Christmas projects.

I snuck into the Shabby Chic Transformation Thursday party late.  ssshhh

  1. This is so cute! I love that sheet music! THis is the perfect mix of glitzy and vintage. Great job! If I don't talk to you again before Christmas, I hope you and yours have a safe and happy holiday!!

  2. This is a great project. I love the vintage sheet music that Karen has at the Graphic Fairy. The font you used is perfect for this banner....I'm in awe of how good you are with the scissors cutting those letters out!
    Have a wonderful holiday.

  3. Love these - very pretty!

  4. Excellent! Sooo pretty, and a very unique way to 'connect' the triangles to the garland. Isn't the Graphics Fairy awesome?!

    thanks for joining the party!

  5. Your banner is adorable.
I love the combination of the sheet music and silver.

I'm so sorry I haven't been by much. Google has had my blog so messed up that I have spent hours daily trying to get it fixed and they have no idea how to help.
I have missed coming by. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and make some wonderful memories.

  6. Such a pretty banner.
Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas Brenda ♥

  7. What a cutie you have here...LOVE your banner! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family!

Thanks so much for letting me know what you think! I so appreciate each and every one of you that take the time to comment! Have a wonderful day!
