And it begins...

Whew! Finally have some boxes unpacked and enough stuff done to start having some fun!! So this is step one in transforming my new house into my home. I am jumping in and joining Metamorphisis Monday, sponsored by Between Naps on the Porch.

Here is a picture of the guest room in our new home with the previous owner's belongings still in place.

Here is the wall where the head of the bed used to be. I will be tweaking and changing things to get just the right displays/vignettes but had to get some of my favorite things put up.

Here is the head of the guest bed. Lots of changes to come yet... new bedding, adding stuff to the screen hung over the bed, etc. But again, it is a start and I am luving it. And the black spot is one of the elusive cats from my previous post--meet Loki.

And last, my vintage dresser under the window. Lots of tweeking to do here. But it looks like a room. And it looks like a room full of some of my favorite things. My husband calls it the 'girly room' and that is fine with me! :)

Thanks for checking out my blog. Hopefully there will be lots more to come! Especially once I get my crafting tools and supplies unpacked, organized, and accessible to I can start creating!

  1. Isn't it nice to be making it yours? Love the creative use of the screen above the bed.

My blog has just been growing like a crazy weed and I haven't been able to get by for as many visits. I miss all my blog friends.
Come for a visit and see both of my new parties for the week. They are up every week and I hope you will participate.
